Marrano/Marc Equity Corp. has announced the promotion of George Roberts (left) to vice president of Information Technology, John Marrano (center) to vice president of Production, and Anthony Marrano (right) to vice president of Purchasing and Estimating. The three have more than 60 years combined service to Marrano.

Roberts graduated from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He came to Marrano 18 years ago from Utica First Insurance where he started out as a computer operator/programmer. He manages all aspects of Marrano’s Information Technology Systems, from network infrastructure to software development and digital marketing.
He and his wife, Rachel, and four children, live in Dunkirk
John Marrano has extensive experience in residential home building. In 1985, he became co-owner of John Marrano Builders with his father and brothers, and was involved in all aspects of the business, from sales to drafting to construction, building more than 300 homes in Western New York.
In 1995, he joined Marrano, Western New York’s leading home builder, as a project manager for the company’s Northtown communities, including the luxury patio homes at Greythorne in Williamsville. He will continue to provide on-site expertise in his new position.
He and his wife, Carol, have two grown sons, and reside in the Town of Hamburg.
Having spent a lifetime in the career of residential home building, Anthony Marrano graduated from Hilbert College with an associate’s degree in Accounting.
In 1985, he was a co-owner of John Marrano Builders.
He joined Marrano Homes in 1995 as an estimator and has remained in that department throughout his Marrano career. He also manages Marrano’s newly redesigned on-site Design Center, a state-of-the-art selection center that serves the company’s customers.
He and his wife, Terri, have a grown daughter; they live in West Seneca.
