Patrick A. Marrano, president of West Seneca-based Marrano Homes, has appointed James H. Grant, CPA (Canisius College, ’86), CMA, chief financial officer for Western New York’s number one builder of new homes.
For the past 19 years, Grant served as controller/secretary, then vice president finance/secretary, at Chapin International Inc., Batavia. He has previous finance experience at Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, Niagara Envelope Corp., and Ernst & Young.
“Jim will play an important role in our leadership team,” Marrano said. “His extensive financial management experience and expertise bring great value to our organization.”
Grant earned a B.S. in Accounting from Canisius College and a Graduate Tax Certificate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the Akron Central Schools Board of Education and Akron First United Methodist Church board of trustees.
Grant and his wife, Becky, and their three children, live in Akron.
