A proud history
Marrano traces its proud heritage back to 1956, when Pasquale Marrano began a home construction business known as Marrano Enterprises. By the time his son, Patrick Marrano, took over as president, the company was ranked in the top three Western New York single-family home builders. In 1982, Marrano merged with the Marc Equity Corporation, primarily a land developer in Western New York and Florida, to create the Marrano/Marc Equity Corp. During the 1980s, when the home building industry was in a recession and other builders were going out of business, Marrano/Marc Equity continued to grow through diversification and expansion.
